Q: I have created a PL file for my current year data.Why can't I see current budget figures when I "update PL".

A: To be imported yes, but you not importing budgets. You are importing actuals and then using the compiler to build a budget from the actual values. Please refer to the New Budget section of the Help file www.bizpeponline.com

Q: If I enter nothing in the relative % column and input data from a different spreadsheet will my budget figures transfer correctly ?
A: If you leave the % empty then the budget values will be empty (0). If you want the budget values to be the same as the imported values set the % to 100.

Q: When I Update PL for FEB it appears that it places it in December and does not list headings?
A: The date is sourced from cell E8 in the PL file (this is the standard location when exported). Your file uses column B, the simple fix is to simply add the date to column E. I have done this in the attached and it imports correctly. I am not sure what headings you are referring to as it all seems to be correct on Update.
