To load different mailing list files simply input the file name in Load File Names Mailing List input area before you Load.
To use the software you must have Microsoft Excel installed on your pc. This has nothing to do with AOL or any internet provider you use. If you have Excel on your pc then you can download software by clicking the link (if you do not have unzipping software download the .exe file) and save it to your pc. Then double click the downloaded file to unzip/extract the software. Then open the Excel file.
DIV Error - Judith
I am not sure what software you are using but it sounds like you have a divide by 0 indicator which means that you are missing input or have a 0
value for revenue or something similar.
As long as the field names match between the form and the GM database they will be imported to GoldMine. You do not need to change anything. There is no limit to the number of fields. We are currently working on a new version that will also send data as a csv and/or XML file for import into other databases including excel etc. Due for release in around 1 Month.
On the input sheet input the current annual values, the montly percentages, and an Increase/Decrease value (Inc/Dec) this will allocate values to the next year budget. All individual cells on the input contain formulas and are protected. When you make a New Sheet the input data is used on the new sheet and you can adjust values as requred. This becomes your budget. Adjustments are not refeleted back to the input sheet. So if you already have budget data you what to use you can build the frame work (ie revenue and cost lines) on the input then create a new sheet and enter actual data. See the Instructions sheet for details.
The email address is in the php script and this is never delivered to the browser only processed by the server so the email address cannot be seen (look at the source code of a form1 page running on a php server, no email address). Depending on your html skills you can add fields by simply typing the html directly into the form code teaxt area, or add all the fields in the form using your html editor before you use the form, or use the designer form to build all your required form fields and then simply copy/paste then within an existing form. You can use the require feature and email vailidation, but if you want to provide further validation you are probably best applying javascript. The next release wil include 'sessions' to rember the form data during the user session so they can go back and forth without ever lossing data (currrently this is dependant upon the browser). Form1 is simply uploaded to the standrad www directory just like any web page. As long as the server supports php it will run.
This error ussually occours when there is a difference (incompatibility) between the Excel set up and that expected by the Model. This model uses the solver addin for Excel. You can try the model on a differnet version/installation of Excel.
Password Protection - Dan
You do not need a password. I am not sure which software title you are refering to but if it is Excel based generally input is in the blue cells on the input sheet, these are not protected. Non input cells contain formula and are protected to maintain formula integrity. See the Instruction sheet or Help file for details on software use.
The file size is actually quite small, around 400kb (depending if a .exe or .zip). Usually with a mac you will need to download the .zip file. You can do this from http://www.bizpeponline.com/BusinessValuation.html
Macro Security Level Adjustment - Woody
If your register button does not work it may be that macros are disabled. You
can adjust macro levels using the Excel Toolbar as follows:
Macro Security Level Adjustment - To adjust macro security levels from Excel go Tools, Macro, Security, Security Level. It is recommended that you select Security Level as Medium. When you open software with macros and Security Level is set as Medium you are presented with a message advising that the software contains macros with a prompt to Disable or Enable Macros. Once you have adjusted close and reopen your file and enable macros at the
prompt.

The standard wage calcualtor is designed for 1 week and can only be changed with programming development work (depending on requirements this could be complex). The idea of using area for client allocation sounds fine, you can label areas with any name you like. The label on the button can only be changed with programming developemnt work (tihs would be a relativly minor change). If it is rostering you are interesed in not so much wages our Shift Scheduler software may be of interest (http://www.bizpeponline.com/ShiftScheduler.html).
Software Development - Mervyn
We did originally add a Forecast function using Microsofts inbuilt forecasting to the reports. The neuoxl system is still based on historical data (although it should handle historical variability better than the default xl forecast). Depending on your data this may or may not provide an enhanced forecast.
In some cases historical data may be a poor indicator of future performance and certainly takes no consideration of business decisions/drivers and thier impact on performance. This may be fine if the business and its market place are static ie just carrying on with momentum but potentially creates a false perception where the market is dynamic and the business is being activly managed. In these cases forecasting with leading indicators combined with decison impacts/outcomes is possibly better. However this is much more difficult than predicing from the past. Some base concepts in forecasting and can be seen in our Forecast and Budget Builder (http://www.bizpeponline.com/ForecastBudget.html relative indicators provide a measure of future outcomes) and Decision Assistant Model (http://www.bizpeponline.com/DecisionAssistant.html probability and quantification of outcome). http://www.palisade.com/html/risk.asp seems to be focused on risk analysis not forecasting. The best solution depends upon you forecasting purpose (I am not entirly clear on this purpose). Based on the blurbe it is difficult to determine how these products would interface with the reports (it could be easy or maybe not?).
I sent you a pre-registered software file by previous email. Did you receive it? As stated in the previous email ".. save it to your computer and then open the file with Excel Macros enalbed." If you still have a problem you need to tell me exactly what it is so I can assist.
Most computers will download a zip file without problem (some limit .exe files) both types of file are provided for download at: http://www.bizpeponline.com/PricingBreakeven.html#download
All download files on our web site are safe to download and do not affect your computer registry or settings in any way. To assist you however I have attached a pre-registered version of your software to this email. Simply save it to your computer.
You can use our Business Valution Model (http://www.bizpeponline.com/BusinessValuation.html) to develop and substanciate your business value. It can provide strong negotiation support.
If you are using the Form1 Builder (to build a form and processing code) it runs in your browser and will run on any system including Mac's that has a current browser. For more detail and to give it a try http://www.softswot.com/FormBuildInfo.php The form processing runs on your server (ie web host) and your server must support php. You can test this using the test code at http://www.softswot.com/phptest.php
You upload the MailMailer to your web server and run it from there (just like a standard web page). It must be on your server to run php.
Try our Shift Scheduler http://www.bizpeponline.com/ShiftScheduler.html Add the required staff (5) and shifts for the duration you wish to schedule and set shift length to 7.5. Full instructions are provided in the included help file or online at http://www.bizpeponline.com/Helpssce.html
We do not have a manual but there are help and instructions provided in the mouse over comments (red marker cells) and the Instructions sheet within the Excel file. If you have a specific question please let me know.
Depending how detailed you what your budgets to be you could use our
Forecast and Budget Builder http://www.bizpeponline.com/ForecastBudget.html (less detailed but quick) or
Budget Tool Business http://www.bizpeponline.com/BudgetTool.html (more detailed)
You could use these to build a budget for each of your 6 companies and then simply link from each file to a consolidation sheet (that is the sum of all) to dispaly the totals.
Do you get an email when you use the Test code from http://www.softswot.com/phptest.php? If not possibly your mail host is preventing delivery do your recive the test form email http://www.softswot.com/Form1Try.php? If you can, try a different email address. One last point maybe your server requires matching between domain and email to enable php send mail. Check your server documentation (or ask your server host) regarding php mail requirements setup.

Purchase Invoice - Maria
You can print a profoma invoice and pay by check using the standard purchase links via our transaction processor SWREG. Select the required license details and click Order Now, then Continue to Check Out and select PRO-FORMA INVOICE by CHECK or WIRE. Complete the details and you will then be provided with an invoice for printing and details on payment by check.
Software Registration - Nicki
The evaluation software is converted to registered software when you input your registration details as stated in the registration email "The Registration Details above will fully enable current versions of evaluation software." You download the evaluation software and convert it to registered software using your registration details.
Analysis Software - Peter
To analyze variations you maybe best looking at charting software (or the charting functions in Excel). It depends a little on what you wish to achieve ie moving day averages, degree of volatility, forecasts past on past values etc. Neither the Decision Assistant or the Investment Analysis are designed for this task. Excel does have a reasonable range of charting and analysis functions and you can import data directly from the web in some cases using Web Query (from Excel go Data, Import External Data, New Web Query) or from CSV (comma separated) files (from Excel go Data, Import External Data, Import Data).
Pad Files - Pierre
A full list of pad files for our software are available at http://www.bizpep.com/padinfo.html.
A drop down is a Select field. You can use the Designer function in Form1 Builer http://www.softswot.com/FormBuildInfo.php to design a select field and then view the code to see what is required. ezyForm http://www.ezyform.com/formcode.html also provides some form code information and links to form code tutorials that may assist.
The Scheduler has a number of constraints you can set and they apply to all staff in the roster. It does not identify days ie Saturdays and applies a random process to fill the roster requirements. If you wish to set specific contraints that are not covered ie only work 2 Saturdays out of 3 you can Manually Force a work or not work senerio by inputting a Y (yes) or N (no) in the shift/staff matrix to preset (force) the required work allocation for that shift before you Build Roster, ie use Y or N to set the staff working on the Saturday. Then when you build this will be preset and the rest of the roster built around it. To have follow on rosters use the Next Shift function to roll the preceeding shift details into the next shift period (ie it remebers staff details etc) and uses the same shift structure. On the vehicle roster issue we only have the one standard scheduler (but do develop as required for specific customers). I am not to sure how complex you want it to be but the concept for vehicles is no different to shifts (ie simply treat a shift as being time allocated to a vehicle). So in essense the standard scheduler could meet your requirements.
Misc - Glenn
As outlined in the transaction confirmatin emails and all documatnation software delivery is by digital download (download from the internet link provided).
Misc - Paul
Most of what you have outlined is probalby best set out in a simple spreadsheet. The only complex item would be the forecasting (if it is meant to be calculated not simply an input). If your thought is to base it of historical data then Excels built in forecasting functions could be applied. If leading indicators or drivers are to be applied to the forecast then some form of relationship would need to be identified. The return of such a model for your business will influence the decidsion on value. If it is simply a record keeping process then an Excel speadshheet would most likly be best and could be developed by anyone with a little excel experience. If the forecasting component is adding real value to your business then it becomes a much more complex issue and requires further investigation into the best way to achieve this.

The real issue is sending the email address when they click a link. To do this they must frst provide the email address so you really need to set up a form that they input an email address and then when they submit it sends the email address to you by email for importing to your database and then redirects them to the page that you want them to go to. This can be achieved simply with something like our Form1 http://www.softswot.com/Form1Info.php and only having 1 form field, the email address. You can see a simlar thing in our join our Mailing List form at the bottom of our left navigation column on our pages, ie an email field and a submit button, when clicked the email address is sent to us and the user rediredcted to a specific page.
These cells are protected because thay are calulate as the Revenue (Input sheet D14) less the sum of the other 4 segments (D11 to G11). They can only have this value.
You can purchase a multi user license for Form1 Builder allowing the software and the forms to be used on client domains. If you have 2 clients you should purchase a multi user license for 3, 1 for yourself for the use of the Form1 Builder and 2 additional for licenses to use the processing code on the client sites. Please note that a license will cover all domains ownwed by a client so if 1 client has 2 domains you still only need 1 license to cover this. If at a future date you require additional clients licenses these can be added.
Make sure you have the files in the correct directory. If so it maybe that your sever does not recognize the .php extension. You can rename the files with the extension .html and give it a try, but dependng on the server setup the php script may not run correctly. Contact your server host and ask them the requirement to run php files on the server, they should be able to help.

The easiest way to work with us is via our Affiliate program. Usually this is the best starting point, from here it is possible to develop the relationship further depending upon the volume of business and value to each party. We are open to developing strong relationships with other businesses and in fact are considering reseller (distributorship) arrangements for our products. The suitabilty of these depends upon the resources and goals of the potential reseller. Currently our distribution/promotion is almost entirely internet based leaving a substantial undeveloped market.
Regarding assessing the modules they can be fully assessed using the evaluation version as the standard non-commercial license version is exactly the same as evaluation versions except they do not expire. We do not provided additional manuals etc but do offer Commercial licenses which are designed for inter business support and with many titles we can upon request; with a commercial license; provide an unprotected software version so formula and structure can be reviewed to gain a greater understanding of model operation. Perhaps the best start is to review titles of interest (not all will be applicable to your clients). If you let me know a little more about the potential you see for these products and your view on how best to manage them I would be more than happy to look at how we can work together most effectively and consider a structure/pricing model that would suit your needs.

It depends on the browser used and the encryption type set in your form (or the default). The order may be in the order on the form page or alphabetical. If you set form tag enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" the fields should be delivered in the order on the form page but this still depends on the browser being complient with the standards. For more detail see the w3 standards info at http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/interact/forms.html#h-17.13.4
If you use the Form1 Builder it to build the form and use the php code from the generated it will identify radio/checkboxs and radio buttons set as required. This is because by default radio buttons etc are not defined unles thay have a value and to set as required they must be set in the required array (which is what Form1 Builder does).

To adjust macro security levels from Excel go Tools, Macro, Security, Security Level. It is recommended that you select Security Level as Medium. Then close Excel and reopen, do not disable macros. When you open software with macros and Security Level is set as Medium you are presented with a message advising that the software contains macros with a prompt to Disable or Enable Macros. If macros are disabled you cannot access the Input Sheet. Additional detail on macros is available in Microsoft Excel Help.

As outlined in the help file if the field name is all upper case it will be set as required. If it starts with an uppercase letter it will be delivered even if empty, if it starts with a lower case letter it will not be delivered.
If you build a form with a registered Form1 Builder it should be fine. If you build it with an unregistered version it will expire after 7 days.
The results are derived from the Decision Return and Decision Expense inputs. From these 12 month results are determined based on a standard normal cumulative distribution. If you purchase a Commercial License we can upon request provide an unprotected software version allowing you to view the formula applied to enhance your knowledge of software operation (macros remain protected).
Form1 delivers the form data as an email to your designated delivery email address. It does not interface with a database. With developemnt work a database interface could be provided.
You can use standard JavaScript within your form to set required fields (although this is not ideal). We are currently developing a Form1 based GoldMine web import script. This will give the GoldMine form all the features of Form1 http://www.softswot.com/Form1Info.php (plus a few new ones) and allow the detection of required fields. It is due for release in the next month or so.
Instructions are provided in the help file and mouse over comments.Use the command buttons to add the number of shifts/staff required, adjust times/requirements to suit and Build the roster. If you want to have 6 weeks in one go you will need 126 shifts (3*7*6) which is getting a bit cumbersome. It may be better to set up 1 week (21 shifts) and use the Next Roster function to follow on for the next 5 weeks.
On finance repayment only the interest component is considered. As outlined in the help/comments:
"The calculated Interest Rate is based on the Financed Amount and the annual Interest Cost from the Performance Data. No principle reduction is considered during the forecast period, only interest expense, principle components reflect assets."
The interest cost is treated as a cost and any pricipal reduction must be derived from the profit of the business. In this senerio the financed amount is basically working capital.

Atttached is a compresseed zip file it requires unzipping for use. You can also download a self sextracting file at http://www.bizpeponline.com/QueuingModel.html
Change the name of your submit button to "submit" not "Submit". Also to test your php code I need it as an email attachment not embedded in an email because email handling systems can change the coding (ie they change some chartacters). So there may or may not be an issue here. If you
have only edited it in the Form Builder or a text editor it sould be fine.
Thanks for your feedback. We have deliberately minimized the complexity of the model and as you mention only focus on physical assets for depreciation. Intangible items ie intellectual property, brand, goodwill etc can actually be envisaged as part of the Other component of the valuation. This does assume that the value of intangible assets is maintain through the operations of the business and as such the depreciation component of this is by default covered by the business operating costs. For example development staff continue to develop intellectual property therefore the cost of this staff is in fact the depreciation value of the ip (the cost to maintain/replace it). You can also apply this concept to brand ie the marketing expenses are the cost of maintaining the brand. There are many other components which contribute to these however they may serve as a base example.

I am not sure which software title you are referring to but if it is an Excel based title generally all input is in on the input sheet and in the blue cells (blue cells are unprotected). All non input cells are protected to ensure formula integrity. Macros must be enabled for the input sheet to be accessed.
Check for duplicates can be done using Goldmines dupcheck function. You can do this automatically using the attached script (WebImp4.php). I have also attached a sample form to show the form setup. Instructions are provided within the files (open them in a text editor or view source to read).
The registration data is held in a cookie on your system. If cookies are not enabled they cannot be saved or possibly they are being cleared/removed by some software? One of these may be your problem?
Give our test form (http://www.softswot.com/Form1Try.php) a run to see the format of delivered data. If you are talking about the web form layout you can use any valid form. Our form software is availabe for free evaluation, you can give it a test run to see if it meets your needs.
Macros are simply part of the Excel operating system. If you are restricted from using them the software will not function. If you like I can email you the zipped file (which can be downloaded) but you will still need to enable macros to run the software.
Use the command buttons to added lines/categories. The worksheet is protected to maintain formula integrity, full functionality is provided via the command buttons.

You can simply copy the form code (everything between the form tags including the tags) and paste it where ever you want it in your exising web page file using a text editor (it must be within the body tags fo your web page plus copy the php processing code (at the top of the built form) and paste it to the top of your web page code above everything else.
You can download and review our Shift Scheduler from:http://www.bizpeponline.com/ShiftScheduler.html. It covers most of your requirments using the constraint settings and the manual input to set a must work/must not work requirements. If the basic function is of interest but you would like to incorporate extra features we can usually accomadte these with additional development work.
A single user license allows you to use the software on any site (domain) owned by the licensed user. So if you own 10 domains you can use the software on all 10. Additional licenses are rquired to use the software on sites owned by others.

I am not entirely clear on your complete requirements but our Shift Scheduler may provide some support. Try setting each of the 50 locations as a shift with its own staff requirement. You can set the start time and length the same for each location or allocate a portion of the total shift to each location ie location A is 8:00 to 8:30 location B is 8:30 to 9:00 etc (shifts should be arranged in chronological order). For a complete day this would result in 150 shifts ie 50 locations for each of your 3 time blocks (shifts). It may be best to have a play with a small number of locations to see if the result is along the lines required before you try a full scale run. If the basic result structure is along the lines required the software can be refined to suit ie adjust shift names etc. This would be a reasonably economical solution to your problem.
We do offer high level forecasting and budgeting in our Forecast and Budget Builder software. You can review it at http://www.bizpeponline.com/ForecastBudget.html. Many clients use the Forecast and Budget Builder to devlop an overall view and then apply our Budget Tool Business http://www.bizpeponline.com/BudgetTool.html to build a specific detailed budget. If required we can expand and refine these concepts and software to provide specific solutions.

On the accuracy: The indicators are compounding (as they should be) not additive so 100*105%*105%=110.25. In other words a 5% increase on a 5% increase results in an overall increase of 10.25%.
On the protection: All non-input cells and Visual Basic code are protected to ensure integrity and protect source code in Non-Commercial licensed software
We do offer Commercial licenses for the use of software for inter-business support, advice, or consulting and upon request with a Commercial license can provide an unprotected software version allowing you to view the formula applied to enhance your knowledge of software operation (macros remain protected).
We also have Source licenses where everything is accessiable. The most suitable license depends upon your requirements.
It sounds like you have a formatting inconsistancy in your PL file. Check the help notes on Format Requirements against the PL file you import for inconsistancies.

A single license is suitable for any domain (site) owned by the licensed
user. Form1 will run on both sites as long as they both support php. My guess is you may have set some of the variables incorrectly or made changes that have broken the php code?

All purchases are processed by third party transaction processors and can handle credit card, check, money order or wire transfers.
For MailMailer goto http://www.softswot.com/MailMailerReg.php
Follow the Order process and using SWREG as the transaction processor you are able to select a payment option including:
PRO-FORMA INVOICE by CHECK or WIRE (+ US $3.00 (check) or + US $18.00 (wire)
manual processing fee)
or
CHECK by US or UK checks or International Money Orders (+ US $3.00 manual processing fee)
These allow non credit card payment. Select the option you wish to use and follow the instructions provided.
If you are recieving "Evaluation" messages then your form is probably still based on the evaluation Form1. Evaluation data is embedded in the php and html code of the evaluation form so you must only use components from the registered Form1 software.

Does your server support php? Check it at http://www.softswot.com/phptest.php If so php is the easiest to get running. Move it out of the cgi-bin and place it on your server just like a stantard html file. Only the pl script needs to be in the cgi-bin if you are using it. At the moment you have different cases in the file on the server name and the file name you call, ie your uploaded file is webimp2.php and you call WebImp2.php. So when you move the script file change the name back to WebImp2.php and adjust your call action url to the new location. Also you currently have name="redirectURL" value="clearsightdownload.htm" use the full url http://www.davincitools.com/clearsightdownload.htm. At the monent you are trying to find this url in the cgi-bin and it is not there.

You have a number of problems:
1. Missing html start tag
2. br tag outside body tags
3. No submit button within form tags. Without this the form can never be submitted. It also must have the name "submit" for form1 to process.
4. Field names all start with lower case. Form1 only processes field names starting with an upper case letter.
I have fixed these in the attached mailinglistform1fix.html. This is the complete form just upload it and it will run. You need to read the Form1 help file on how to use the fields ie upper case, pre-defined fields for email checking etc.
The file extension can be an issue with some server hosts ie they will only run a php code if the file name ends with .php. If this is the case for your server simply rename the file as mailinglistform1.php or what ever you like. It may not be an issue as you can see it runs fine on our server as a .html file.
You may find our Form1 Builder of use http://www.softswot.com/FormBuildInfo.php. The Existing Form function allows you to use exisitng files (ie built by dream weaver) and adds Form1 processing code for you. It is also worth checking the validity of your html code (your file had a couple of serious errors). Try the Form Validity section of http://www.ezyform.com/formcode.html for more info.

The PL Compiler is designd to import your MYOB actuals data not the budget set in MYOB. The idea is that you actually build your budget in excel using the Compiler. This saves you from having to do it in MYOB (which can be a bit painful). Building your budget in the compiler streamlines the budget building process by applying pre set formula and forecasting functions.
You can use our Pricing and Breakeven analysis software http://www.bizpeponline.com/PricingBreakeven.html even with no units sales data.
You do not need the costs per unit. On the input sheet input:
Annual Revenue
Annual Variable cost
Annual Fixed Cost
For the Sales line (row 15 and 16) if you are not using the number of sales analysis the input number here does not really matter, set it to 1 if not used. Just ignore the values in the number of sales results. The chart will show breakeven by revenue.
You can toggle the Sales line blue column title to Num Sales (Number of Sales) by clicking it and selecting from the drop down. This is designed for
the number of sales and is used in the by unit analysis it is not a component of the revenue breakeven analysis. To use you can simply input an average number of transactions that make the revenue. This will provide some useful data on transactions without delving into specific unit metrics.

From what you have said I think we can develop a solution.
Basically by proving a matrix and applying an allocation algorithm to
determine the time required from each staff member and the required sum an
automated system could be developed.
This would utilize Excel as a base and be driven by macros to determine a
result that meets requirements. The best way to proceed would probably be on
a develop and refine basis where an initial model is compiled and provided
for review with refinements and features modified to suit.
Scheduling development can be quite complex (and become increasingly so very
quickly). Any further detail available including
current methods applied, additional constraints, number of staff, time
ranges, variations to consider etc will assist in refining the possible
solutions and allow me to provide more information.
Does a Quick Form work ie the basic predefined form?
If so your form may not be valid (ie html coding not correct). Have a look at
the form validation section at the bottom of
http://www.ezyform.com/formcode.html. Also check that any defined urls, email
addresses etc are correct (remember the case of urls matters on some
servers).
If Quick Form does not run you may have a php issue.
If you continue to have problems send me a copy of your form as an email
attachemnt and the url of the form on your server and I will have a look for
you.

The forecast (expected, optimistic, pessimistic) is derived from the Relative Indicators. The sensitivity analysis adjusts the variance of the Relative indicator from the base value of 100. The Optimistic Sensitivity increases this variance the Pessimistic Sensitivity reduces this variance. When a relative indicator is less than 100 this can have the effect of appearing to reverse the values calculated optimistic/pessimistic.
For Market Strength of 150% with all other indicators at 100% (no change year on year) Expected revenue of 500 000 becomes 750 000 (Previous Year Revenue * Market Strength % * Business Market Position % / Level of Competition % which is 500 000 * 1.5 * 1 / 1 = 750 000).
The Pessimistic Sensitivity analysis reduces the effect of variance of the indicator from 100 (the base value). For a pessimistic sensitivity of 20% a Market Strength of 150% becomes 140% (150 - 100 * (1 - 20%) + 100). If all other indicators are 100% (no change year on year) revenue of 500 000 becomes 700 000.
If the relative indicator is less than 100 say 50% the Pessimistic Sensitivity analysis still reduces the effect of the indicator i.e. for a pessimistic sensitivity of 20% a Market Strength of 50% becomes 60% (50 - 100 * (1 - 20%) + 100). If all other indicators are 100% (no change year on year) revenue of 500 000 becomes 300 000.
I hope this aids understanding of the sensitivity function a little. Regardless of sensitivity settings the Expected Values are applied directly from your relative indicators. If relative indicators of less than 100 are providing inconsistent optimistic/pessimistic values you can run various scenarios applying different Relative indicators to test a range of possibilities and forecast combinations.
When you purchase a license for Form1 Builder it covers as many forms as you like as long as they are on domains owned by the license holder. So if they are your websites they are covered by the Form1 Builder license. If you are a web designer and you are building forms for clients then for each client you will also need to purchase a Form1 (http://www.softswot.com/Form1Reg.php) license (US$15.00) so that the processing code is licensed for their domains (this covers all websites owned by a client).

You can include tax as a component of Other Expenses as a Variable Cost or a Fixed Cost. A Variable Cost will change with revenue. The actual forecast value (each year) will be influenced by your relative indicators.
Your problem is that
name="thankURL" should be name="thankurl". The name (case matters) is wrong so when you process it sends the email but cannot identify the page to redirect to so defaults to itself and then has no data to send and generates an error.
I have modified the attached and also removed the space in the file name (this is generally good practice as different browsers may url encode a space differently). It is also worth considering setting the email address (and other available variables) in the processing script to protect it from spam harvesting (for more info see http://www.ezyform.com/formspam.html).

You need to relate these to the forecast relative indicators. The issue is the impact they will have on the returns of the business which is forecast by the relative indicators. For example if lack of control affects the Business Market Position (strength) negatively then the indicators for this would be reduced. You can also integrate discount allowances by adjusting (increasing) the required rate of return in the valuation analysis. This in effect says that due to the increased risk an increased return is required.

Because this is a comparison based approach to contribution if there is nothing to compare an error results i.e. /DIV0. To use less than 5 segments set the Revenue data for the unrequired segments to a negligible value i.e. .0001, and the Relative Indicators to 100 i.e. no change.

As long as your intranet server supports the php language Form1 will run on your intranet. PHP is available free of charge, for more detail try www.php.net.
Do you have macros enabled? Macros must be enabled for the software to function. If so but the program is not responding you can reinstall the software and re-enter your registration details. Download from http://www.bizpeponline.com/ShiftScheduler.html.

We do not have standard software for form importing to Access. We do use systems for importing form emails into Microsoft Excel and similar structures could be applied for Access importing but they would require a fair amount of development.
Software delivery is by digital download. Immediately after your transaction was processed an email was sent with registration details including a download link for your registered software. I have included a copy below. Please follow the instructions. If I can assist further just let me know.

Form1 Builder registration details are held in Cookies, these are simply small data files stored on your computer and accessed by a web page, in this case Form1 Builder. You must enable Cookies, this means allow them to be set by your browser.
To adjust Cookie settings from IE go Tools, Internet Options, Privacy. From Mozilla go Tools, Cookie Manager. Details on cookie settings will be available in each browser help.
If you do not enable Cookies you will need to input your registration details at the beginning of each Form1 session.
This is the second time I have replied. I will send this message from several servers. Please provide a different email address if this message is not delivered by email.
A copy of my email sent 28 Feb is included below.

When you download a file with a .zip extension it must be unzipped to use, or if a .exe extension it self installs. To assist you I have attached a pre-registered version of your software (this is the Business Valuation excel file and the Help file within the zip or exe file). Simply save these to the same directory your computer and open the Business Valuation Excel file to use.
Our Shift Scheduler Continuous will handle 10 hour shifts. Simply set up your required shift times by overwriting the default follow on shift date and time. You can download give it a test run from http://www.bizpeponline.com/ShiftScheduler.html.

Thanks for your feedback. The Variable Labor Owner declining over the years is usually (depends on your relative indicators) due to the Owner labor being progressively allocated to more Fixed Cost activities (i.e. administration) leaving less for Variable Cost activities (i.e. production).
The Input Sheet is there but your Mac will not run the macros to display it. If possible run it on windows or if you purchase a license I will send you a pre-registered version that does not need the macros. This will run fine on your Mac.
You input a Y or a N as stated in the help (not YES or NO just 1 letter). In the attached I input Y for the first shift for the first 6 staff and when I Build they are all working (the Y becomes a YES work).

Your test file is corrupted (some of its functions have been deleted?). I have attached a new file which I have setup for your shifts. Build Roster ran fine and a roster compiled. In the test file you had Max Number Days in a Row as 5. With your number of staff and 12 max hours this is not a feasible option. To fulfill the roster each staff member must work 84 hours this is every day so they must work more than 5 days in a week in fact they must work 7. If you add staff or decrease the shift requirement you can adjust this. I also change the Max Hours to 84, this relates to the hours a staff member can work in the roster, for the current setup they should only work 84 hours (this balances out the shift allocation). Use the attached file as your master. You can modify from here as required.
The Required Field problem is due to the names of some fields including spaces. To fix this I have modified your form (attached) and replaced spaces with _ (underscore) in the field names and also in the required array (generated by Form1 Builder). Spaces should not be used in field names as they become url encoded (they are not spaces but code representing spaces) on form submission.

You need to set the delivery email address in $delemail="" as outlined in the help file or set it in the Form1 Builder. A copy of the results are sent to the form submitter when EmailCC is set.

Glad to see you had success. As outlined in previous emails you have to remove any comment code above the web page code before you build with an Exisiting form.
As outlined in the Help file you can set a field as required by making the field name all upper case. So just make you email field name EMAIL and it will be required. You can easily edit this in a text editor (notepad).
To have a one or the other form selection on the same page you should have each of the sections as an independent form. They can use the same Form1 processing script but should be separate forms with separate submit buttons.

Thanks for the compliment.
When you have different types of items you can simply treat them as a total by using the total revenue, total number of sales and total expenses. The result will give you average prices and a percentage change which can be considered for each of the item types.
It should be noted that if the items are significantly different in price characteristics you should run then through as individual item types i.e. just do each separately using the revenue, number of units and expenses for each individual item type.

A Warning: set_time_limit(): Cannot set time limit in safe mode is generated when your server settings do not allow adjustment of php processing time outs. When this occurs email delivery may be interrupted due to php processing stopping. You (or your server host) can adjust this php setting or try running on a different host.
Sounds good. If you are getting a required field message and you have completed all fields in the form check that the field name does not exist in the form as a hidden field and that it is not set in the required fields array at the top of the php processing code This array is set when you build using Form1 Builder and if you manually change the form after using Form! Builder you may have an array entry but no matching form field.
The value field is not required. All it does is provide a default value for the input. It has no affect on processing.
When using Form! Builder Designer form the Required checkbox simply changes the corresponding field name to upper case. If you have already set the field name as upper case it leaves it that way.
Form1 Builder and forms built using unregistered software include full functionality but will only work for 7 days form the start of evaluation. To maintain forms they must be developed using registered software.
Glad to hear you like HTML-Kit. It is (IMHO) the best and cleanest html editor available and is my editor of choice. I look forward to receiving feedback on your experiences.
A couple of points:
1. The files you sent have been downloaded from the internet and include the top comment header "!-- saved from ....." This should be removed before use with Form1 Builder.
2. The Form action in your files includes a target=_blank tag. Basically means open new window I have replaced this with a standard action as below.
In the 2 attached files I have made the above modifications. Save them to your pc. To use them in Form1 Builder
1. Open Form1 Builder.
2. In the Required Base Input your delivery email.
3. Click Existing Form.
4. Click Browse and select the file name
5. Click Build Form
6. Copy the highlighted Form Code in the Text Area, open NotePad paste, input the file name and save (it is usually best to include the extension as .php).
7. Upload the file to your server and open on the web i.e. input the url address into your browser.

First you need to rebuild you forms with registered software (use the registered Form1 code not the evaluation code). This will remove the "Evaluation period expires...".
The auto-responder goes to the value set in the field name "Email". See the Auto-Responder section of the help file. The subject line is made up of the fields named "Email" "FistName" "LastName". See the Pre-Defined Fields section of the help file. Check your redirect url to ensure it is correct (it sounds like it is not valid and is breaking the php code). Also try a different url i.e. try http://softswot.com. If this works the problem is your url. All fields with a name commencing with an upper case letter will be delivered. If you require a different delivery system i.e. only deliver non-empty fields we can modify with a little development work.
PrintShop has nothing to do with Form1 however it appears your computer associates the file QuickForm.php with "Broderbund Quick Prints Type" file. In your local folder (i.e. where you saved the QuickForm.php on your desktop) try right-clicking QuickForm.php and then click Open With and then select Notepad. Select the Always use this program checkbox, this should change the file association allowing you to open .php files on your computer in Notepad and remove the previous file association.
You had a whole pile of required fields set in the prosseing code. Some of these did not exist on the form so it would never be submitted because all the required data was not provided. You appeared to have removed fields after the using Form1 Builder. You should not remove required fields after Form Builder has been run. If you do just remove the php processing code from the top of the form page and rerun Form Builder using the Exiting Form Function.
Our Shift Scheduler includes extensive use of macro features not generally supported by Mac's. In many cases even when the Macro's are run on Mac's the functions can not be completed, hence the lack of results. For this software to function correctly it should be run on a windows based system.
The scheduler does not include constraints to force continuous days off i.e. must work 4 days and then have 4 days off.
The best way to handle this is treat each block of days as a shift i.e.
4 days 08:00 - 20:00 Block A treated as 1 shift
4 days 12:00 – 00:00 Block B treated as 1 shift
You can have as many blocks as required (depends on the roster duration required) following on with different start times/lengths. Set the required staff levels for each block/shift. Then set the break between shifts as the required i.e. 4 days = 4 * 24 hours. This will result in staff working a Block (A or B etc) and then having a required break of 4 days. The success of this approach will depend on your specific requirements and may not be suitable for all situations.

It is most likely GoldMine truncating the notes field. Adjust the allowable field length in GoldMine or if it is fixed setup an new field to accommodate the data.
To link to a form page say the form Form1.php just add a standard hyperlink from your web page to the form file i.e.
The full code would be (replace www.myserver.com with your domain)
Contact Usor if the link page is in the same directory as the Form1.php page
Contact Us will do.
You can modify fields and form to suit. Form1 processing code is at the top of any html code. In the sample Form1 form provided there is processing code at the top and then web page code (for the form) below. To see this you should open the file in a text editor i.e. NotePad or you can view it in the Form Code section of the Form1 Builder Software http://www.softswot.com/FormBuildInfo.php.
EmailCC "in conjunction" simply means that when this checkbox (EmailCC ) is ticked a copy (CC) of the form submission will be sent to the submitters email address as well as the delivery email address i.e. you get a copy of the form you submit.
If you build a calculator with the data items as form fields (input and hidden) when sent the data fields will be processed and sent by Form1 processing. You could build the calculator with JavaScript or php. Php does not depend on the user having JavaScript enabled on their browser, but it does require page refreshes to process. JavaScript would allow on the fly calculation. We could develop a calculator page to provide the functionality and delivery required. If you are interested send me the calculator requirements i.e. inputs, required calculations and outputs and I will provide further detail.

If you select an Arrival Rate base as per Day this refers to activity within a 24 hour period. If you only operate for 8 hours a day then to model the activity within this period a per Hour basis should be applied.
We provide set up support for registered users, just send us an email. Once you upload the script to your server you can direct any form you like to it for processing. This way you can have multiple forms processed by the one script with each form containing its own processing instructions but using the same processing engine.
